Our Founder
Tamika Thompson is a full-time Digital Marketing Leader by day, and a master resume writer by night and on the weekends.
She started Thompson Resume Writing Co., formerly known as MCM Professional Resume Writing Services, in 2013 after years of optimizing and redesigning resumes for her friends and family who weren’t getting interviews from boring, poorly written resumes.
When one of her friends landed a job at a top-ranked hospital in Chicago, she realized that this was her calling - to equip frustrated job-seekers who weren’t callbacks with quality, keyword optimized resumes that sell them as the best candidate for the job.
She’s helped hundreds of people get past ATS systems to receive interview requests and land jobs at some of America’s most well-known companies and organizations including Southwest, Apple, T-Mobile, Microsoft, Boeing, Deloitte, and others.
